Purpleheart with Yellow wood

I just finished this about an hour ago. It's a Slimline made with Purpleheart and some very Yellow wood I found at work eariler in the year. It's finished with 8 coats of Med CA.

The wood is naturally this yellow? Wow!


You must have taken some great care during sanding.....I can't see any 'bleed' from the purpleheart onto the yellow stuff!

The yellow wood looks like agarita

Purple heart and Yellow heart,or Pau Amarello same thing.
Nice pen I have made a few segmented baskets with these two woods.
