I would like comments on the shape I did on this pen; my wife DOES NOT like it at all.

The finish is Dr.Woodshop walnut finishing oil appled sorta/kinda like Mike Schmitt's process minus the pen plus finish. Let it sit for a day then buffed w/ tripoli, white di, blue rouge and last wheel no buff. It came out real nice; I'm going to use this pen daily at work to see how the finish holds up.

As much as i'd like to disagree with your wife ;-), I don't really care for the shape either. But it is something different and I'm glad you changed it up for us. Maybe it will grow on her (and me).

Sorry and not wanting to get involved in a "Domestic" ,but I tend to agree with "She who must be obeyed".
It doesn't do anything for me, I can't put my finger on it.
The colour of that Purple Heart, doesn't Pop for me.
The Click Plunger seems too prominent.
It is stuck up like a Hypodermic plunger.
To add some balance I do like your display stand!

okay, I like the swell before the nib. I dislike the extra girth under the clip.
Your potential customers and your wife may be in different books however.
And us and potential customers...same thing.
looks good overall in craftsmanship from what I see.
Go sell. try things. you'll see what works for you and "them".
