Here's a pen I made from 2 of my favorite woods. Its a 60 degree angle. One of my better pens and it was lots of fun to make.

Nice segmented pen. I think that's my next skill to tackle. Don't have a table saw though. I've seen some people use a miter saw?

Yeah, I don't see why you couldn't get the job done with a miter saw and even a circular saw for ripping longer pieces.
