This is a cigar pen I made over the weekend. It started out as me rummaging through my materials with nothing particular in mind, and thought this purple alumilite with silver leaf blank I poured a while back would be interesting. I decided to do a cigar shape, since I don't usually make them, and I like the curves. I cast a silver cap band and ball clip for hardware, and fabricated bands for the body from silver wire. The material is somewhat translucent, so I sanded the inside of the cap, barrel, and section enough where the drill marks were eliminated.
