This one was just for fun -- purple mica polyester resin in clear lucite. The inlays were cut with a CNC mill, then filled and re-turned. I figure Spring's coming (at least here in the Southwest), and those purple crocuses will be up soon.

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone.

Can I ask how you're filling in the areas with resin? Are you using a rotisserie type setup?

The slots are so thin (3/64") that surface tension holds the PR in place until it dries. I do wind up spinning it manually for about 10 minutes until it sets somewhat. I've found that as long as I just fill the slots and don't overload it with PR, it can pretty much cure by itself without mechanical turning.
