FYI.. I am very dissapointed in my BB bowl gouges. I had to send two of the three back because they were so poorly milled and one of the replacements still has a "V" groove in the bottom of the mill over a "U" which gives me a nick on the cutting tip. I am a cheap person in all, but even I will pass on these.

Oh, and I had also bought a "set of 4" round nose scrapers which came to me with 3 diffrent style handles and in 2 diffrent colors! [V]
 
I don't have this set, but I do have 5 BB tools for bowls and have been quite happy with them. Here is what I have:
• 3/4" Round Nose Side Cutting Scraper
• 5/8" Bowl Gouge
• 3/8" Bowl Gouge
• 5/8" Ellsworth Grind Bowl Gouge
• 3/8" Ellsworth Grind Bowl Gouge
 
I bought several of the BB bowl turning tools through WoodTurningz. I was quite impressed at the quality vs. price. FWIW.
I bought individual tools instead of the sets. That way, I got what I wanted and at a good price, too.[:)]
 
I don't have this set either, but did buy the 3/8, 1/2 & 5/8 from PSI.. so far I have no complaints with the tools themselves... but, I am still learning to use them correctly.. so don't know if I can give a valued opinion.
 
Being a new turner and also on a budget, I tried some of the cheaper tools. I have found that they are not worth it. They don't stay sharp very long, and the more you sharpen them, the more you have to sharpen them. I have a set of Benjamin's Best and a set of Crown (not pro [:(]) And I find that they are both good tools. And with further investigation the above link is Benjamin's best, even though they don't say it. Your better to spend more and get less tools, than get more tools for less.
 
You are going to want a good bowl gouge or two or three. Good is relative to how much you are going to do.

I REALLY like the gouges I got from Bob Sweazey. Nice person who makes a killer bowl gouge. You can save a few bucks by making your own handle, but Bob has a good balanced handle with the gouge.

This tool set will let you do most anything that the bowl gouge will not do.

Powerful pair --

I have a pair of Glaser Gouges. Super steel but they needed some tuning to polish the inside of the gouge -- dremel work. Also have Crown PM and Kelton and they are not better than Bob's gouge.

No wrong answers, but fewer tools and getting good with those few has been a good pattern for me.
