Problem with HyMark kits

Anyone besides me having problems with the HyMark kit from Berea? My Sharpie keep drying out in 2 to 3 days. I've tried everything from reseating the plastic insert cap to filling the hole in the top of the plastic insert with silicone to no avail.

I had a cheap sharpie knockoff in mine, and it took a few weeks, but it did dry out.

Well, 108 views and no one else has had the sharpie dry out? Is any one willing to take a look at one of mine and see what I may have done wrong?

Mine dried out in 2 days.

I wanted to try one...but after Monty's original post awhile back,I decided against it.

I hope they can fix the design,as it looks like a fun project to do.It would show off a nice blank!
