2) Each winner will send me an email to mike@M3ci.com with their selections and shipping address.

I happened to have a stray thought this morning. My IAP mugs arrived and thinking over the fund raising etc, It sparked a memory of my days working down on the docks in Philly. What Jeff needs to do rather than sell raffle tickets for chances to win at special prizes is to sell Pencils. Thats right pencils, you buy a pencil for $5.00 6 for $25.00. With each pencil you get 1 ticket for a drawing absolutely free! Jeff could sell thousands of IAP pencils.

I still haven't heard from clapiana. So, have no idea what he's sending, IF he's sending or, how much and, what it's value will be. Maybe he'll come thru sometime soon. FWIW

If we don't hear from the stragglers soon, they'll just have to be fit in wherever, if and when they finally commit.

We're always chasing down a few this late in the planning stages, and they've had two months to get back to us...so I wouldn't worry too much about it, Chuck.

Golly this sounds familiar---same names every year.

Just think how much fun it would be if EVERY donor pulled this same trick!!

FWIW,
Ed

Some of the prizes in that 163 are going to Jeff for Donation drawing or auction etc. He probably has a few that are not on my list. Currently we have 2 prizes not assigned to a contest. I may place them in the losers club drawing or we can award them as random drawings in a competition. I like the random drawing option as it encourages greater participation.

I received the Satellite City Instant Glues today. We need to limit the winners of those to US only. They cannot be shipped internationally. I could remove the aerosol accelerator and the solvent, then ship, but that sort of kills the prize.

I am wondering if there will be a similar situation with Alumalite?

I've received Alumilite internationally...but that was a few years ago...

If an international member wins the sat city set, can we substitute an iap patch signed by Jeff or something like that, for the aerosol? :) Otherwise, allocation may be difficult...

It's not impossible to get it there, it just requires a permit, so I understand.

I'll figure something out!

We'll have to combine to get the $25 minimums, but since it's going to Jeff, that should be no issue...

I am going to suggest we hold some in reserve to substitute for the glue or alumilite prizes if someone over seas wins those prizes. Since the Alumilite is $20 dollar value the bottle stopper samplers and Pizza cutter kit would substitute nicely. We could combine some of the others to cover the $40.00 value of the glue package.

I've emailed Carol from Alumilite about three time in past few weeks, and no response...wonder if she's on vacation?

I've sent another follow-up this morning...

I have a correction on the Gift Certificate from Little Machine Shop. Cheryl Kubiak is sending a hard copy GC with catalogs.

Was this coming to me? I have not received it.
Jeff, you told me to keep it then send it to the winner when the time comes. I can mail it to you if you prefer now.

Chuck, you're right! I remember now. Hang on to that one!
OK! Am I to determine prize preferences by first to reply? i.e. one prize value is $50.00 and, the other $25.00

You can do it however suits you. They are there for you to use. I dont arrange them by value in the Trivia as much as the other contests.

Got the box today from Craig at ChefWareKits. What a nice job he did packaging and labeling everything. Except that the #6 bag, prize 168, the bottle stopper sampler, is not in the box. I'll let him know, but I think we can just delete it rather than ask him to send it.

working on it. I have deleted it from the list. Since these prizes are reserved it does not effect the rest of the distribution.

Jeff here is the current list I have for your selections for either the auction or DD which ever you decide to do with them

I didn't see the pen I offered with the magazines it is featured in. If it's not needed, that's ok. It is the cherry pit pen I took 2nd place wtih in the Best of IAP contest along with the Pen World magazine and the Woodturning magazine it was in.

I just sent you a PM then I read this. Now I see it's a completed pen. That will be great for the drawing.

Do we have a contact at Metal Pen Blanks. Looking for a photo of their 10 M3 blanks for the DD.

Also "vanngo5d" for a custom blank? Any clue on what that is?
