I have the pressure pot set and ready, I now would like to start casting, but I have a couple of questions, I am sure people have asked but I can't seem to find the answer.

What do I set the pressure to?

Also how long do I need to keep it under pressure?

How long before it can be turned after it comes out of the pot?

Thank you in advance.

Pressure: depends on what you are casting. If casting labeled tubes 20-25 psi so you don't risk blowing the PR past the corks. If casting "blocks" in molds you can go as high as 60 psi but "most" folks use around 40-45 psi.

How long in the pot: depends on how much MEK you added. The easiest way, unless you are production casting, is to cast at night and open in the morning. Lots of MEK and you might pull it out at 4 hours. But, depends on what you have added to the PR. Some colorants REALLY slow it down. PR Princess once had a gold cast that Ed said was solidifying for a week. Play to learn.

How long until you can turn it: once it is cool to the touch you are good to go.
