Why do you need a pressure pot for resin based blanks sure as filling in the blank voids

To collapse the air bubbles that are formed as part of the pouring/mixing/pouring and to push it into the nooks and crannies of the blank voids.

I've had good luck making solid PR blanks without a pressure pot, but I would definitely use it if I was making a 'worthless wood' blank or if casting other objects in the PR such as shredded cash or loofa.

The pressure pot helps to eliminate the chances of an air bubble being stuck in your casting and ruining what would otherwise be a nice pen.
