Hi folks,
I have for sale 50 blanks, Numbers 1-30 are Premiun Crosscut Desert Ironwood and they are $4 each, all of the Ironwood blanks are 3/4"x3/4"x5 1/4", Numbers 31-50 are what I call worthless wood, they are Mineralized Pin Worm pine, and they are $1 each, they are all 7/8"x7/8"x5 1/4", shipping is $5.95 to the US and $11.95 to Canada, Please post which ones you want so others will know they are taken. I accept Paypal.
Please remember folks that heat is the enemy of Ironwood! I realize most everyone knows this but for the beginners, Drill slow (600 rpms about) and keep the flutes on the bit clean, Ironwood is an oily wood and heat builds in it alot faster than in most woods, and place a block of scrap wood under it when drilling so when the bit comes out of the Ironwood it still is cutting wood or the sudden increase of speed when you come out of the blank will blow it out. " Just my two cents worth, hope it helps someone"
Thanks
