Premiere Cigar Hybrid & Blue Box Elder

I was finally able to get back into the shop after 3 weeks of no turning because of a miserable cold. I picked up some great blanks last weekend at the IAP Georgia/Florida Penturner's Gathering and can't wait to see how they turn into pens. This cigar pen was commissioned before I got sick and I'm glad to finally get it out the door! This is the third stabilized blue box elder blank I've turned and each has been different and all have been attractive. This one reminds me of Van Gogh's "The Starry Night".
