My oldest sister died last night. She was considerably older than me, and was like a second mother to me. She had never been sick a day in her life, and the only time she was hospitalized was to birth children.

This is totally unexpected and very hard for our entire family. Prayers will be appreciated.

Andy, any loss of a loved one is tragic, but when one is lost suddenly, that is much more grievous. Just try to see it in this light, she did not linger and suffer for days or even years before going on to the next life. Our prayers are going out for God to hold each and everyone of you and your family close in this time of grief and need.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes!

Just knowing that there are people that care has already helped to lighten my burden.

Sometimes, I think that Our Maker reserves Good Friday as a special day for those who are ready to enter "Phase II".

So sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathies and prayed are with you and your family. To me Easter is a time of renewal and promise. Somehow in all this will be a renewal. God is with you.

Death of a loved one is always hard. Our greatest comfort is when we know they knew Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Then it is a great homegoing for them, but the loss is still great for the family and friends.

Andy,

I lost my Dad a little over a year ago in much the same way. My prayers are with you and your family. I just keep thinking about how that deep sense of loss just reflects how blessed we are to have people in our lives that mean so much.

John
