I just read through Brooks prayer request - My thoughts and prayers have been and will continue for his father and family.

I have been keeping this one to myself - Like Brooks said there are a lot of great people on IAP and many have become super great friends to me in the short time I have been involved.

My Grandfather (Mothers Side) has been in the Hospital since Sunday.
He went into intensive care yesterday. He has had all he can take with a 15 plus year old pace maker and heart by-passes etc...
Pneumonia put him in the hospital - Due to his emphysema, congestive heart failure and pneumonia things are very delicate right now.
They finally found an antibiotic that is starting to fight the infection.
However his breathing is taxing his heart to work much harder then it can take for too long of a period. His breathing machine is now doing 90% to his 10%. We are all very worried and would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for him.
God's mercy is sufficient - Please pray for my Grandfathers Comfort and peace.

Praying right now. It can be very tough seeing those we love go through difficult times. I will pray for God's provision, strength and peace not only for your grandfather but the rest of the family as well.

I will ekp you posted on his condition - We usually get some type of report around 12, after all of the doctors see him and test results are back etc...

Message from Kevin while he is away from computer

Kevin asked me to give everyone an update on his Grandfather's condition. He is doing better and was removed from ICU this afternoon and his breathing is getting better slowly- the antibiotic is starting to fight the pneumonia so things are improving- He is not completely out of the woods yet so please continue to keep him in your prayers. Kevin also said he greatly appreciates the prayers and said this " GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME and there is POWER IN PRAYER". He also said that to everyone that took their time to pray for him that their prayers are being answered! Thank you.

We just found out My Grandfather is going to be going home tomorrow!
My Birthday is tomorrow - THE BIG 40!

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers - I honestly feel they are the reason for his recovery.
From the beginning the doctors did not give us a very good feeling that he would be able to make it through - The prayers of many were great, Thank you so much to all.

Kevin, I am still saying prayers for you all. But very glad to know that Grandpa is coming home. Happy Birthday by the way.
