Hey IAP Friends, sorry I havent been on much lately, I have had a lot going on in the past few months.
I really good friend of mine Paul is having emergency Brain Surgery tomorrow morning. From what I understand his doctor said if he doesnt get the surgery he will die. Paul is only 33 years old and an all around good guy, he definitely doesnt deserve this.. His brain is filling up with fluid at a rapid rate and is causing a ton of problems. One of the problems is 6 blown out discs in his back due to the lack of fluid making its way through his spine. Other problems are mood swings, visions problems, unpredictable weakness etc...
The surgery he is having will be a nickle sized hole drilled in his forehead to allow the fluid to drain. If that doesnt work, they will put in a shunt. Paul told me that the Neurosurgeon asked him if he had a will and when he said no, the doc said it might be a good time to get one done as well as other affairs in order prior to the surgery.
I know you all dont know him but you know me and your thoughts and prayers go a long way for me and my family.
He is going in at 11 am and will most likely be put into a coma and in ICU for a while.. I will give updates as I get them..
Thanks in advance for the prayers and thoughts as paul could really use them..
