Well, at Muskogee (OK) regional hospital. Jeremy (my oldest son) and his wife were in a car wreck this morning. Laura is good. Jeremy got beat up and bit. Is in surgery now to remove spleen. He has a broken shoulder blade and pretty bruised hip. Thankfully the kids were not with them.

Prayer on the way

I hope all is ok I know how it is

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Prayers on the way for your son and daughter-in-law. May everything work out for all. Very Thankful that your grandkids were not there.

Keep us informed

Paul,

I'm really sorry to hear of your son's accident. I will keep you and yur family in my prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Thanks a gain to all. Had to come home this afternoon, but may go back this eveing or tomorrow (about a 160 mile trip). Still in a lot of pain, and kidneys are a bit stressed. Blood pressure fluctuates a bit and his heart rate was up. Last news since being home is the heart doc changed a med and things have settled down. Just have to be patient. Things like this really make you apreciate life and family a tad more.

Got an update from my daughter in law. Kidneys have settled down and started working like they are supposed to. Other vitals are stabilizing as well. They are going to get him up tomorrow, and he'll get some food. Going back to see him after noon for a bit as well. God is good.

Other than still being in a lot of pain, things are better. He looked good. Able to take at least some soup. Hopefully out of ICU today into a regular room. Kind of knew this, but glad I didn't know until after the fact that he was listed as critical condition for a bit. DIL is doing very well with mostly just a stiff neck. Thanks again for all your prayers.
Good excuse to swing by Roy's on the way home yesterday evening, since had to come through his neck of the woods. Always a joy to visit with him and Dee. Thanks for letting us drop by on short notice. Got to 'tour' the Classic Nib warehouse :). Lots of neat stuff!

Paul, it's always a pleasure seeing you and your amazing Daughter Grace our home is always open for you. So glad Jeremy is doing better. The photos of the truck he was in when hit by the Semi tractor were scary, thank goodness it missed the cab.
