I have some friends who have a son who is a minister and a gun enthusiast. They saw my bullets pens and Dad wanted one for the son but Mom wanted something that was reflective of his day job. I showed them a pen made from BOW and then the idea hit why not make a bullet pen with the top made from BOW.
Hence the name.

Thank you that makes good sense to me now. When Googled BOW wood this is what was returned.

"Noun 1. bow wood - small shrubby deciduous yellowwood tree of south central United States having spines, glossy dark green leaves and an inedible fruit that resembles an orange; its hard orange-colored wood used for bows by Native Americans; frequently planted as boundary hedge
Maclura pomifera, osage orange, mock orange
angiospermous yellowwood - any of various angiospermous trees having yellow wood"

As a minister I was very puzzled now I am not--

A lot of ministers' know the 2nd Amendment helps promise the 1st Amendment....I can see where this would be something that just about all of them would enjoy having!
