Practicing for the Summer Extravaganza

Had three of my Grand Kids over the weekend. They love to come to Pop's house and make pens. Two of them, ages 8 & 9 are getting old enough to start actually using a carbide insert tool on there own but still need help getting the ends of the barrel to the proper size. They hope to enter a Summer Extravaganza contest in August. :biggrin: They got a little practice in over the weekend. The 5 year old still has a few years to go yet but has asked how long it will be before he can make a pen without help.
