A Powermatic 3520 just listed on Craigslist in the Albany El Cerrito area. If you search Powermatic on Craigslist for the East Bay you will find it. He is also selling a jet air filtration system, but I have contacted him to purchase that. : )

Wow...... Now I had to go to Fallon, Nevada instead of Albany/El Cerrito, but I feel fortunate getting a 4224 for $3,000 when the 3520 is $3,600 firm.

They are $3999.99 new in the wood turners catalog. For $400 you can but it brand new and get vacuum to boot.

Powermatics go on sale a few times a year for 15% off. So with a little patience, you can get it brand new with warranty for $3400. The warranty is not transferable according to their manual. I'd pass for sure.
