Powder Coating

Say, I wonder......there are so many .50 Ca. pens that have allot of exposed brass. In most pictures they appear normally tarnished. Mine did the same. Has anyone tried powder coating these??

Eric (Sylvanite) powder coats his and they look great.

I apply 4 coats of lacquer using the Dipping Method.
Found that powder coating always discolors the brass casing and the copper projectile.

Guess I need to look at a tutorial on the "dippng" method.
