Powder Coating Question

Just finished powder coating some 30-06 brass casings with clear coat. They look great!! Question is - after powder coating do you do anything else, like buffing, polishing, etc? This is my first time doing any powder coating.

You would buff, polish etc before you powder-coat. Buffing afterwards may lead to scratching and partially removal of the paint.

Agreed, no buffing after PC.

Thanks for the answers! I agree. I know for the ultimate paint job the pro's "color sand" the final coat of finish then buff to a mirror finish. I didn't know if that would help the powder coat finish or not. I called a company this morning that does powder coating professionally and they said the same as ya'll, "NO!!. Just a little polish once and a while to remove dirt or smudges; otherwise, it's fine. Again thanks.
