I'm hoping to get published in a major woodturning journal in Feb. That would be an exciting first! Its taken a while to find a niche' and I'm going to run with it as far as it will take me. Wish me luck! I'll believe it when I see it in print!

I'm working toward the AAW Symposium in San Jose in June of next year. I hope to meet some of you there.

Thanks again to those who have sent me cigar bands. I still don't have a solid source for a variety of bands. Im trying to catch the eye of a cigar company would be willing to set me up with a variety of their labels. So much to do and so little time. My kids are on Christmas break.

WOW!! hat is really good news to hear I hope it all works out for you, I'm hoping to make the drive down to San Jose but it's to early to tell yet, If so I would love to meet up and see your work. On another note I would be happy to remove some rings for you from cigars It would be a great business expense i would be happy to incure LOL
 
Well diserved if you get it. Your pens are through the roof and of great quality. If I had a pen like those it wouldnt last becasue everyone would try to smoke it. You do great work Martin and if it came down to it you got my vote.

given the amount i smoke, i could easily be your consistant source of bands, haha.
so far, i've built and FILLED 3 humidors, one of which holds 300 stogies.
i keep all my bands, let me know what you're looking for and i'll see if i can't dig up a match
