Please don't poke the bear:

I'm not interested in getting an iphone (everyone else in my family has one and I have heard EVERY REASON they are "superior" to my phone.

For the second time in a month, my Note 5 has stopped charging and I have ordered a replacement. (It's a warranty replacement, again.)

I'm plugging the charging port on the replacement and switching to only wireless charging. Does anyone have experience with either of these chargers, or have another wireless portable charger that I should consider?

I don't have recommendations on wireless but my wife and I have the Note 4. Given that my wife's phone is often borrowed by our 4yr old, her charging port gets dirty. Do a quick search online for "clean micro usb" and there are many places that talk about how to setup a q-tip to clean the port. This might work for you.

I have an iPhone and an Android and prefer the Android..anyway, I would just check to ensure that your device(s) can be charged wirelessly or can made to. My Android S5 cannot. I wanted to do the same...Between the wires and the ruined ports, I thought that was the way to go.

Good luck!
