I'm doing an inlay in a bottle stopper. I would like to seal the wood with ca but would like to put a dip coat of Minwax fast dry Polyurethane over the ca for additional build up and to cover the inlay.
Will this work or will there be a conflict between the ca and the Poly. Any knowledgeable answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would not do it unless you sand it back. If you want to hit with a thin coat of ca and then steel wool it back would be fine. I would instead use a dewaxed shellac to seal the wood and then top coat with anything you want. Just my opinion.
