Unfortunately there's a small check/crack near the top of the cap, but I still consider this a fine example of Pollyanna burl, and it's one of my favorite burls in my collection.

Nice pen, have you thought about pressing the cap back out and reinserting it into the tube with the crack under the clip? That should hide it fairly well. If you do this, you might want to check and make sure you don't have anything inside the tube like CA / epoxy...
