Plenty of views and zero replies. I'm guessing it hasn't been used by anyone? I've found it at several outlets and the claim is mirror shine on plastics and metals and no dark residue on bone, use it wet or dry. It's relatively inexpensive, so I think it will go on my long list of things to try.

Sorry, the link works for me. Google 3M polishing papers.

Looks to me like an alternative to MicroMesh.

Chris, it's always good to have an alternative.
Maybe someone has used it and can confirm likeness.

How does 30, 15, 9 and 3 microns relate to the grades in MM? Higher, lower, same range? The thing I like about MM is that with the 9 pad set I feel like I'm never making a big jump.

One of the sites gave a grit comparison. There wasn't a big jump between them. It probably states on the 3M website.

They have a similar product also. I think it had the same claims and they both mention glass polishing.

I actually purchased two sets of the larger sheets from The Sanding Glove at the symposium here in Texas back in August. I have been using it wet on my snake skin pens and like the results. I need to do some comparisons to see if there is any real difference.
Do a good turn daily!
