this is a polaris pen from psi. the wood is double dyed red and black

That's one FUNKY lookin' pen! Not sure I like the material, but that's just my (lack of) taste. Looks like you did a nice job with the fit!

I made the mistake of taking it to work to show it off.
I was not allowed to leave work that day with the pen in my hands.
I was only able to use the pen for about 1 hour before i sold it.
I wish i could get more sales like that.

I like that style of pen, I only wish it was a 1/2" longer.
Good choice of hardware, the silver looks great.
