Grab your check book and go for it! LOL easy for me to say... Mike Roux(Bluwolf) has the pm 1236 and its a nice lathe. THats to far away for me but still a good price.

Mark I would pass on that old worn out overpriced scrap pile. Im not seeing a live center with it at all and only one tool holder on the qctp

I hear ya Mike. No live center, tailstock chuck, etc! Fortunately, I have 3MT live centers and tailstock tools on my present lathe!
Now if this was a PM-1127VF-LB I would be on my way to pick it up!

For that kind of money I'd make sure the warranty is transferrable to a different owner:wink:

I also have to wonder about a guy with a machine shop that calls a DRO a drone. I'm not sure how much I would trust his work. Maybe that's why he doesn't need the extra lathe:rolleyes:

All kidding aside, I would buy a Precision Matthews again in a heart beat. Just remember the price of the tooling goes up with the size of the lathe too.

Mike

All good points Mike. My interest in this lathe in waning. I think I'll just stick with my current lathe for the time being. I must say that I was looking forward to having my own "drone" to fly around
