I have a bunch of plum and have made a couple pens. It's a really nice wood. Works well and finishes nicely. Beautiful pen.

I just had a purple leaf flowering plum tree taken down in my front yard.
I saved a large piece of the trunk to make stuff with.
The wood is heavy & dense.
It has lots of flame patterns & colors in it.

It's nice to see what plum wood looks like in a pen.
