Just read Jeff's thread-
(EGAD)IF you did not donate, you are UN-MUGGED

Wait til next year!!!

The IAP is running smoothly and our fearless leader, Jeff, is content with our efforts to help him finance it.

HOWEVER, he once said there was no way to get one of the prestigious IAP mugs unless HE decided to GIVE it to you. He has, generously, given me one (eat your hearts out!!)

NOW, he has changed his policy - It's nice to be KING.

EVERYONE can be enjoying their coffee in an IAP mug, with a simple donation to the IAP!!!

NOVEL CONCEPT

OK, you wouldn't have been sure it was me, if I didn't use a LITTLE color!

But, Jeff is a bashful sort, so the topic is locked and will NEVER come to your attention if, like me, you use the "Active topics" to determine what you will view.

So, to give it more attention:

GO HERE:
http://www.penturners.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=31661

MAKE A $50 DONATION

GET A MUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, everybody comment so we keep this in the "active topics" all month!!!

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

I enjoyed my coffee in an IAP mug this morning :D And for those (like myself) that hate mugs with handles only one finger will fit through, this one has a nice large handle. Step up and git u one.

Is it large enough that I can use it when my thumb and forefinger are glued together with CA? [:p]

It is large enough you can glue your thumb and forefinger to the mug. Really helps on a more stable hold as it holds so much coffee! (or less coffee and more baileys!)

Ed!

Thanks for the picture! I had just asked Jeff to post a picture of the mug-in-question. Now he doesn't need to!

Yes, people! In exchange for a simple donation, which you wanted to do anyway, you not only get a beautiful mug like Ed has, but you also get a chance for PRIZES! Tired of being on Paul's waiting list for one of his vises? Jeff will be giving one away! And there are lots of other cool things, literally being given away! All you need to do is donate! Check it out at this link:

Ed, in observing the manor in which you are holding the mug, is the a subtle message to Cav there?[:p]

I am holding the mug in the BEST manner to show both the HANDLE, which had been widely discussed, so to speak AND the IAP logo - which is, of course the attraction to GETTING the mug.

MARKETING, my man, MARKETING!!!:D:D:D:D

Some people will go to incredible lengths to stimulate posts. To pretend to have no command of the English language just to be corrected online is above and beyond the call of duty.

He looks like my unshaven TWIN in that photo!!!!!!!

Fortunately, I hear he is severely vertically challenged.

I, of course am 6 foot 6 or so.

If Brad Pitt can get away with the unshaven look, then so can I.[}:)]

WARNING WARNING WARNING. Drink the coffee BEFORE you turn it over to look for the label. Neither IAP or I accept any liability for damage to 'dangly bits';)[:I]

Mike, I couldn't see enough of the manor in which Ed was residing while holding the mug in an interesting manner to understand any subtle message directed at me. :D

Well since the Mr. has already asked what makes you think it is an impression - I don't have to "go there." ;)

I guess some of you may be wondering how I, a well educated and stand out college student (ask the Mr. he loves to brag about that) could possibly have chosen Mr. MLK (yes, I did see your offer of change Doc [}:)]).....

Let's all just surmise that I did NOT make my choice based on his command of the English language. :D Perhaps ....

His command of Lumber is much better. [}:)][}:)]:D[}:)][}:)]

Mrs. MLK - who thinks she might return to the work shop now ;)

Lumber is what you do on your way back from the shop. Wood is know as "Blanks". Let this sort of thing get out of hand and you all will be talking about mortis and tenons.
