Please identify the wood!

I really am lost as to what wood this is - don't even know where I got it! It's kinda plain but turns great! Can you identify it for me PLEASE?!

To me, it looks alot like mahogany. I have made a pen from mahogony, and it is very light in color, and very plain, but with a kind of speckling of grain. Depending where you cut it, though, it can have quite a bit of chatoyance.

It might also be boxwood. Is it very tight grained?

Beats me what the wood is but the pen is really nice.

I dont know either but it is a really nice pen. Mahogany is darker than that. I wood say looks a little like cedar but not sure.

Looks a lot like some Dogwood I've seen .

Could be dogwood. It is not Mahogany. Too light and not correct grain.
