Please ID this wood for me :)

Hi everyone, I got this pen blank a log time ago and I did not mark it and I do not know what it is, please look at the picture and if you can identify it please let me know what it is, as soon as I find out what it is then I can start looking for more of it to get. I also think it is tulipwood. I have always thought tulipwood (particularly the sapwood, which is what the pic looks like) has a very distinctive smell. Almost a sweet, clean smell.
