Got a fair this weekend in my hometown so decided to do some special pens. We are a huge football town (state champs eight out of ten years from 2010-2019) and the colors are orange and blue so did some of Both. From right to left - chrome football pen in oak, gold football pen in acrylicI picked up at Rockler, pewter football pen with my own made Alumilite blanks, chrome Manipulator pen in oak and dyed with Rit dye, and finally a chameleon slimline with hickory dyed with food coloring. All the woods were CA coated to seal in the dyes and all pens were sanded up to 12,000, then finished off with carnuba. Trying to decide which I like better to push more out.

I like all of the colors and materials. My favorite style is the Manipulator, but that's just my personal preference. Although I have made a few "themed" pens, I still like the heftier, more traditional styles the best. Good Job on the different processes. - Dave
