Playing around---Ornament

I keep looking at this pile of Texas Black Ebony and it keeps trying jump up on the lathe. OK that sounds strange but I am sure this happens to other folks.
The Tru-stone is some scrap that was sitting to close to the Ebony.

Nice looking ornament, Gary. An Texas Ebony is sooooo much fun to work with. It cuts so easily with almost any saw, turns like butter, isn't very heavy, and doesn't hurt when a pice falls on your big toe at all!!!
