It's just so difficult to capture how chatoyance plays in the light with just a picture or two ...

If everybody could submit a tiny video like that for part of their entry, I'm sure the voting would be a bit more time consuming - and a far more enjoyably excruciating experience for those of us needing to make a decision on which pens to vote for!

'Tis a beautiful pen. In the voting, not only was there an abundance of really beautiful wood, I suspect that the blank, fit and finish were let down by the kit.

I love that curly Koa... I made a few nomads with Koa and I think with a CA finish the chatoyance (had to look up that word) really pop
