Plaid Design

This is my first attempt at posting a photo. I started playing around with segments years ago separating segments with pickguard. Eventually I became intrigued with the plaid look. This pen is made from two separate laminations cut into segments and defined with pickguard and veener. I call it the Highlander.

Another way to get a plaid pattern is with polymer clay, like this article:

But I think yours is more impressive.
