Got my PITH pen from Martin (3Peake) tyesterday and it is fantastic:bananen_smilies008:! Beautiful "celtic knot" (in quotes because I know some here have a different definition of the celtic knot). I can't imagine the time this took, great work on the accuracy of the knot and the finish! Also he included a bunch of great wood and home cast PR (there was one more PR blank and a laminated/segmented wood blank but my kids snagged those and I missed them when I took the picture:redface.
The details right from Martin: "The pen if you would like the details,is made from Redwood Burl knotted with ash and teak veneers.Which then had about 10 coats of thin CA, followed by 10 coats of medium CA. Micromeshed to 12000, then autoglym metal polish followed by 2 coats of carnauba wax."
I will enjoy showing this one around, now I need to learn to do celtic knots...
All the best,
Chris
