Here are a few pics of the PITH pen that I sent to obone, Brenden O'Brien. he has confirmed that he received the pen.
Because the instructions were to make a pen from wood, I wanted to minimize the the visible metal plating on the pen, so except for the clip, all the metal parts of the pen are covered with wood. The mechanism and starting point for the pen is the cigar kit.
The pen is mainly Honduran rosewood burl, with a writing end made from stabilized pomelle sapele and a small slice of cocobolo on the very top of the clip end of the pen.
