Did a little casting. And after asking the Skiprat about how he threaded a piece as thin as he did I worked up the nerve to do this pen. The cap is only about 13mm at it's widest point. I don't care for thick pens. The metal parts are aluminum. I'm starting back in slowly. Next time I may reverse paint the blank because you can still see some lines where the body is threaded into the nib. Please let me know your thoughts.

how thin is the pen where you did the threading?
I have a part or two where I thread the inside 8.4 x .75 inside of 10 x .75 threads on the outside.
