I had wondered what pen would make a nice signature pen after leaving Texas and Moving to California. We rented a unit while searching for a home to buy. Outside there are these humungous pine cones. Guess what is going to happen to them. California Signature Pine Cone pens from Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, California. Cannot wait to unpack my lathe and get to work having fun.
Also, a good friend of mine wants me to conduct phone worker comp audits. This is great news and I love the work. NO need to travel and I get paid for each audit. :bananen_smilies051::bananen_smilies051::bananen_smilies051:

Congrats on the Job, I have some of those cone's. The issue I have with them is that the center is to soft, the smaller ones work for me. If you cast at all there is a small pine cone that is almost like paper that look great when cast in PR or Alumilite.

When I cut them, we will see what is left over. I may need to use alumilite but would prefer not to. Need those young, un-blossomed cones.
