I've had a lot of people ask for a tutorial video for making a pine cone pen and so I thought I would make them short and sweet but in kind of a series. Hope you like it! This is the first but important step: picking the pine cone to use.

Nice video! I pick the green closed cones, then dry them slowly in my garage. I then cut them down and cast 'em in resin. I also like the squirrel eaten cones because they've done my hard work for me! I get lots of big cones my way, 6"-8" long. If you ever want to trade, let me know!
