Turning an alumilite blank today and when I got the blank to the finished size I noticed what appeared to be tiny holes maybe casting bubbles? I couldn't sand them out so I polished the blank then cleaned the blank with alcohol and did a CA finish on the alumilite blank. Seemed to work. How would you have dealt with them?
Thanks
Rod

Alumilite is more susceptible to bubbles than PR blanks. Pressure makes the existing bubbles smaller, but they won't go away. You did exactly what I'd have done.
