I love these pens but I have a hard time using them as they are so small so this is what I came up with.

Looks great to me!
A pen with a bit of meat to it is easier for some of us to use.

Is the whole pen done on a metal lathe?
Or do you use taps and dies to get the threads?
I am hoping to start down this road with my Myford ML7 when i get it set up and trued!

Really nice work on that modification. I need to learn how to do tap&die work so I could give those a try.
Me too. I noticed the "steepness" of the threads and it looks as though it would be easy to get the cap on and off without needing to turn it a needless number of times.

Oh wow.....that is EXACTLY the type of pen want to work up to. Stunning. Clip. Threads. Design of the body.....just awesome.
