I had a few thin pieces of Fordite and when I bought these Pill Box kits from @DwightE I saw the possibilities.

Funny thing about Fordite, you never know what you're going to get until you turn it down ...

Those are awesome!
Very unique. Beautiful. How do you finish them?

Thanks! Using a spare acrylic blank as a flat backing block, I wet sand 100 - 120 - 180 - 220 - 320 to shape, then wet sand with Tri-mite/Zona polishing fabrics to bring to high gloss. No added finish, but I'm thinking about Renaissance Wax or maybe even buffing with carnauba wax, haven't decided about that.

Wow, that's a beautiful application for Fordite. I like this better than Fordite pens. No offense to Fordite pen makers.

Thanks! Disks have the advantage that you get to expose a wide, almost-flat surface, with a slight dome you get a pattern like contour lines on a map.

Oh, and I make pens too - but no offense taken 😂
