I made this for a friend's daughter, who is a wildland firefighter in Oregon. The pen is a Phoenix Rising in antique pewter, from PSI. The blank is an AA called Cat's Eye, from Rockler. I'm really happy with this one.

I back painted it black, and I think it darkened it somewhat. This is another Cat's Eye, that I didn't back paint.

Thanks for showing. . The blank and pen kit (with its appropriately colored stones) complement each other very well.

Nicely done !!

And it is nice to see very clearly the effect of backpainting
