Permastone anyone?

Just picked up a new-to-me product called permastone by Activa (or Activa Products?). Just wondering if anyone has tried this for pen blanks and if so any tips for coloring it?

Hi Mark - I'm guessing it is a type of plaster and probably not something you want to turn or to be sanding in your shop. Even with adequate safety gear. The dust will coat everything and get into everything (bearings, motors...).

Most of these types of product are intended to be cast to final shape / form.

Check the MSDS.

Here is the MSDS, Reads to be a nuisance dust which means it will get every were when sanded. More than likely it is an acrylic polymer enhanced casting plaster/clayt mix.
