Tried out one of the Perfume Pens, it was fun to not have to worry about how it would feel to write with it. Given the kit name, it should almost go in SOYP, but since you can't write with it, here it goes!

Sorry, I forgot to put that in the original post.

Wood is Koa and the kit is from Arizona Silhouette, it is one of those with the wick that you dip into a bottle of perfume and loads via capilary attraction.

great looking perfume pen homqer, thought it was koa, lighter shade than what I've worked with. Here's some stuff I made from the wood I bought from Chris on here from Hawaii, you may want to try & look up his site, got some great wood and prices!!!

I got a bit lucky on the Koa front. My cousins husband is a carpenter, and one of his customers used to have logging rights in Hawaii back in the 70s. The customer set aside several thousand board feet of Koa for his own use, and has my cousin in law make furniture every so often. When that happens, I usually end up with a few board feet of 4/4 cutoffs. So for me Koa is free! My pieces range from quite dark to quite light and are all seasoned for 30 years.
