Well with the goddies my wife gave me for Christmas I put my limited skills to work and made her this perfume pen. It is done in dyed,stabilized chestnut.
This kit uses 8mm tubes.The instructions that came with it say to insert a 7mm tube inside it,then put it on the mandrel.There was way to much slop between the tubes so I just made a friction fit mandrel out of some cheap dowling to prevent unwanted runout.Believe it or not the cap was harder to turn than the body,it took me 3 blanks to get it right.
I think it came out pretty good for using a skew start to finish.Gotta learn how to use it one way or another.
