Peppermill and Leash Holder

A couple of items I've made for Holiday gifts. First up is a peppermill, my first, in Canary wood.

And here is the leash holder. The paw print on the front is mounted to a dowel rod about 2.5 inches long, so a leash can be draped over it. The holder is made of cherry and walnut.

Great job on the leash holder. I would love to copy it but I have to hide my dog's leash, it has a strange effect on him when he sees it [}]

Good job.. I'm a peppermill guy and like your design.. don't have a dog (and trying not to get one), but the leash holder is great too.

Thanks for the comments. The peppermill is about 12 inches tall, and the leash holder is 10.5 inches tall. The peppermill is my own design and the leash holder is from a pattern. I forget which magazine, but I can look it up if anyone is interested.

Both are very nicely done. Particularly like the peppermill- neat clean simple lines.
