I purchased some peppercorn burl casting pieces from George a while back and I've finally gotten around to casting and turning a pen from some. Stabilized first in cactus juice then cast in alumilite.

This is my second good "red" wood and resin casting. I usually have a hard time with reds and had a couple failures before. I am very picky with the color. I love blue, on the other hand, and have had multiple successful castings, but not with peppercorn!
